the bond with lowest strength is..........??????

whn we talk abt bonds, den H-bond is d weakest bond.

    But as i know, in case of intermolecular forces d weakest is vander waals force.i hv written dis b'coz in some books i got it as H-bonding...vich one is correct?

pls be clear of the fact that a bond is refered to be as, the attractive interaction between to 2 atoms or 2 molecules.

the stongest bond are the covalent bonds between heterogenous atoms while the weakest

are van der waal's(force of attraction)/bond

also called as induced dipole dipole interaction ,

that are formed between atoms of inert gases or molecules of a compound without these forces inert gases could not have been liquified.

hydrogen bonds r the weakest

what vanderwaal forces are stronger than covalent bond,great man simply great.

if that would have been tha case than inert gases would appear in solid state and diamond would have been in gasous state.

pls if u do not know concept don't confuse others,don't answer until u are absoluetly certain.
