hello guys

i am a dropper of IIT-JEE. and am interested in giving JEE agan next year.

can anyone tell me that is there any requirement of Education Continuation Certificate....... ie it states that what i did all the year i have dropped????? is it a requirement to get admission in any Engineering Institution??? Please answer Quick guys....................Rates assured and i need it urgently..............thanx in advance!!!!!!!!

Don't worry. IIT doesn't ask any question whatsoever. My friend  was a dropper  & got into IIT Kgp this year.

For BITS-Pilani, they ask u to give a letter stating reason(s)  for gap. Just state something positive.....like My fundamentals of Science weren't all that strong....I wanted to consolidate them before I plunged into an Engg career where I wd be using my fundamentals throughout my career........so on & so forth.Of course if there was a genuine problem like u got hospitalised for a long while, don't tell a lie. State the facts.  

After u finish your Engg & face any interview, they r likely to ask  u as to what u did with yr gap year. Be confident & positive about it. Look the interviewer in the eye & tell him u wanted to consolidate yr fundamentals etc etc. If u get thru IIT or BITS-P this year, the interviewer  will buy your line of reasoning and not grill u thereafter. If u fail to achieve anything substantial this year ( any other good Engg College.....say in the top 20 list ), things wd get a bit rough for u. U  will need to explain a lot more. So if u r dropping this year, u might as well have something concrete to show for your efforts.
