but in the formula for e too its relative speed of sparations over relative speed of approach, not rel vels. as vectors cannot be divided! It has to be speed in the formula. So, the answer should be B!

in the formula of e it is not speed but velocity and also in the statement both velocity and speed are used obviously so the statement shouid be wrong

where ever i have read it is velocity but for a minute let suppose it is speed even then statement 1 shouid be wrong bcoz he is saying relative speed before collision it is ok according to you but after that he is saying relative VELOCITY after collision then he shouid be wrong according to you
so statement 1 shouid be wrong

momemtum is conserved if no external force actts and e=1 in elastic collision it does not exlpain state ent so 'B is answer
