Why XeF2 and XeF4 act as fluoride donors whereas XeF6 acts as fluoride acceptor???

I THINK ANS LIE SOMEWHERE IN CONCEPT OF STABILIZATION


WHEN XeF2 OR XeF4 IS FORMED 2&4 VALENCY ARE ONLY SATISFIED SO FOR STABILIZATION


THE Xe will donate the F molecule to attain stabilization


but for XeF6 DONATING 6 F molecule require more energy than accepting 2 F molec


so here it will accept 2 F ATOMS for stabilization
