first add a peroxide. this will form a proxy linkage. then use H2O/H+. by adding this the compound formed will get protonated, rearrange, attacked by OH-/H2O.

this is same conversion of cumene t0alcohol and ketone so use that regents
if u know its mechanism than u can easily do this i don't know how to show mechanism here

Absolutely this is the same as that of oxidation of cumene to propanone but i didn't mention it for you could get more confused
