hi,
When i used to click on inernet connection it used to ask me for my usernmae and password and i wud entr it ad get connected but since few weeks the username window isnt appearing instead it gets started directly.I m afraid if this is a sign of unsecure computer,what should i do?How can i keep my comp safe and secure?

I think It can be fixed by following the steps:
Go to:
1) TOOLS > Internet Options 2) Go To "Connections" tab. 3) Select the option : "Never Dial A Connection"
press OK and restart
If it doesnt help, let me know............cheers............

Or else, u can do this:
1) Go to Network Connections Folder.
2) Select your connection, right click and click on "Properties"
3) Go to "Options" Tab
4) In the "Dialing Options" section
5) Check the Boxes namely
i) Prompt for name and password, certificate etc ii) Display progress while connecting.
And u r done!!!! ur computer is not insecure or sumthing.........................so chill dear lady!!!!

download Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 (without activating) which will remove any spyware which may be affecting you network connection. But if your connection is slow then it would take much time. You must contact you connection provider as dial-up connections are very vulnerable.

yup follow the above.....................it will help!!!! but remember 1 thing...............
AN ANTI-VIRUS SOFTWARE IS ALSO A VIRUS IN ITSELF................. so dont be obsessed with that!!!!
