assertion and reason

asertion-reactivity of tert. alcohol is max for dehydration.
reason-
1. it forms teriary carbocation which is stable
2.tert. carbocation is stable in nature.

pls tell whether both corrcet .none is correct or asertion is corcect or reason is correct

both r correct as tertiary carbocation is the stable form.

the survivor always gets through..

yaeh both r correct because tertiary carbocation is more stable becasue of hyper conjugation!!

both are wrong in the context of the question, the raectivity of 3 degree alcohol is max for dehydration causz there is a change hyb from sp3 to sp2 in which the electron density is oriented along the plane

Dehydration of alcohols follows the order -
30 > 20 > 10
This is because of the formation of the stable tertiary cation.
