Indian Institutes of Technology Ioint Entrance Examination (IIT JEE) Syllabus:

Presently there are 13 different IITs situated at - Bhubaneswar, Bombay, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Patna, Punjab, Rajasthan and Roorkee.

The academic session in the two new IITs (IIT Indore and IIT Himachal Pradesh) will commence from the academic year 2009-2010 with a total of 120 seats in each of them. The admissions will be through JEE-2009.

IIT Bombay will be the mentor of IIT Indore. IIT Roorkee will be the mentor of IIT Himachal Pradesh.

Every candidate who has the dream to be a part of most prestigious exam of the country has to satisfy the IIT JEE eligibility criteria set by JEE.

Course Offered at IIT Punjab: One of the IIT situated in Ropar,Punjab (also known as IIT Ropar), with purpose to enhance the technical skills of students. Initially Delhi is the mentor for IIT Punjab. IIT Punjab offering in following undergraduates programmes ( B.Tech streams)..

2. Electrical Engineering,

3. Mechanical Engineering

Apart form that ,IIT Punjab also offres programmes at doctoral level & research programmes at their campus with 40 intake in each programme.

Courses Offered at IIT Rajasthan : One the new chain of IIT engineering education institutes IIT Rajasthan (will be setup at Jodhpur) which is recently started to functioning at IIT Kanpur campus, Uttar pradesh. IIT Rajasthan (IIT Jodhpur) which will be actively takes place at Jodhpur campus after the construction will be completed and take part in development of nation. IIT Rajathan start functioning under the mentoreship of prestigious IIT Kanpur.

IIT Rajasthan campus offers three B.Tech programmes of four years duration in following engineering stream, with total intake of 120 seats, equally distributed across the three branches

1. Computer science Engineering,
2. Electrical Engineering,
3. Mechanical engineering

Courses Offered at IIT Patna: New IIT institute at Patna, Bihar is set to provides highly quality of technical research centre, catering to the nation’s need to groom the technocrates & scientists. IIT Patna Offering B.tech programmes in their IIT Patna, Bihar capmpus in three different discipline -

2. Elctrical Engineering,
3. Mechanical Engineering
