x has to be positive...( 3/8 , infinity ) - { 1 }...base cant be 1...

so...x^2 - 2x + 3/4 < 0

implies... x belongs to ( 1/3 , 1/2 )...

therefore....the reqd values of x are .....( 3/8 , 1/2 )....ANS
