How to reach IIT Kanpur campus?

The campus is well connected with all three means of transportation namely by roadways, by railways and by airways. The campus is only 16 kms away from the Kanpur central railway station which is situated in the heart of the city. It will take around one and a half to two hours to reach the campus from the airport.

Are the hostel facilities available?

Yes, its residential campus offers accommodation to about 350 faculty members, about 700 support staff members along with about 4000 students. The separate hostels have their own computer centres, reading rooms, television rooms and canteens for entertainment, social and educational purposes.
