Heaven and Hell

What happens when I die ?
Does Hell really exist ?
Am I going to Heaven ?
Does it matter ?

But I'm going to Heaven because....
- I give to charities
- I'm a good citizen
- Never done anyone any harm
- Been baptised
- Kept the 10 commandments
- Go to church
These are many of the common misconceptions that are considered a sure way of gaining a place in Heaven but they fall short of what is really required.

Hell on the other hand is considered a joke by some people and those that take it seriously are to be avoided; for others it is held as primitive supersition.

Heaven and Hell are treated as advertising gimmicks but on the day of judgement no one will be laughing or producing flippant little brochures about them. No one will be questioning the morality of eternal punishment. No broadminded preachers will be insisting, 'I don't believe a God of love could send anyone to Hell.' We will all be ready to fall on our faces, overcome by the intense reality of the living God.

The one thing that is certain in this life is that death is inevitable and there is only one way of escaping it...
