and dont talk abt placements bcoz meta @ IIT R had a 7lpa average in 2007-08.It was higher than electrical and civil there. PLus you have automobile companies and heavy electrical companies recruiting from meta,.So, you have a lot of options apart from the steel sector IF you have MBA on your mind this is a very good option as it gives you the IIT tag and its also one of the easier branches. |
