Ya, all the electronics related branches like ECE, EEE, EnI are the toughest of the branches and also have a huge syllabus but in turn u get great returns if u do well in them. And dont worry if u didnt do well in ur XII class's semiconductor chapter. It was even less than basic. :P Electronics is actually fun. ya u have to study some semiconductor stufff which is boring and slightly difficult but other things like circuits, making LEDs blink using a microcontrollers, making a robot's brain, learning how a comp's motherboard, graphics card work or how to design them is actually fun. And once u r in college, u have seniors, faculty, ur own friends to help u out in case u face any difficulty. So if u r getting this branch, go for it.
