There is nothing to be confused.All the Indian books that you have been referred to,their authors also studied Boyd.It's a very well renowned book.Remember too many cooks spoil the broth so don't run after every book in the market because they basically contain the same thing.Best would be to study the writings of the original masters of the subject.Just study a couple of books(certainly boyd) but solve good questions to test yourself.For practice questions you can refer to any Indian books or correspondence course.The standard of FIITJEE materials have gone down with too many rubbish questions---just a waste of time.Clayden and March are pretty high standard books not exactly needed for JEE.
