In org, our sir had taught us d song for priority of funct groups:

Carboxylic sulphonic anhydride celebrated easter with halide and amide. Nitrile and aldehyde could not attend because ketone consumed alcohol and shouted mi ke ky

therefore in decreasing priority

Carboxylic acid

Sulphonic Acid

Acid Anhydride

Ester (from 'easter' in the song)

Acid Halide

Amide

Nitrile

Aldehyde

Ketone

Alcohol

amines

alkenes

alkynes
