Yes listening to radio while studying hampers your studies.Believe me i alsoused to study for continuously 3-4 hrs while listening to songs but the output was quiet poor .There is a physcological reason behind it -When we are studying and listening to songs simentaneously our mind tends to read also and to listen to the lyrics also thus our conc gets divided and thus the output of our mind is very poor .If u try to conc. on just one thing the other will seem to be like a disturbance.Try to conc hard on your studies while listening to music.U'll find it problamatic cause the song acts as one of the disturbing elements at that instance
