Modification suggested is as follows 1.To what power of valency or charge coagulating power of coagulating ion is proportional to , now it modified that coagulating power is directly proportional to fourth power of the valency of coagulating ion  .2.Adsorbing power of ions shud also be considered  while discussing coagulating power for e.g cogullation value  value of H+  is very low among monovalent cations & BrO3-1 also have very low value among anions this is bec both the ions are strongly adsorbed.  3.The ions carrying same charge as the colliod particles is also effective in some way in determining the coagulation value  of electrolyte for e.gcoagulation value for pot.citrate ,pot.acetate for arsenious sulphide sol(negatively charged) are diff & found to be 270 &115 milimoles per litre although coagulating ion is same in both the cases i.e potassium but actually citrate & acetate anions are adsorbed to diff extents on the surface of arsenious sulphide particles thus raising the negative zeta potential of particles to diff extent
