hi peroxides r the compounds in which the oxdn state of oxygen is -1. eg: 2Na+O2----->Na2O2 superoxides r the cpds in which oxdn state of O is -1/2. eg: K+O2------->KO2 hope this helps rate if its useful. !!!!!!!!!!!!!
