boric acid is arrhenius acid because it releases H+ in aqueous medium.in water it forms tetrahedral cordinated complex with hydroxide ion to form B(OH)- so it is mono basic acid.remember in boric acid octet of central boron is incomplete so it is lewis acid also. | |||||||||||||
