Colligative property depends upon no. of particles & colligative property is inversely proportional to mol mass as given by thier mathematical exppressions ,so if sm how no of particles changes due to association ,dissociation or ionization when solute dissolves in solvent value of mol mass will also cm out to be wrong i.e we will get abnormal mol mass.
