well, here goes,
mole concept is a very basic concept used all across chemistry, and even sometimes in physics.

the mole is the name given to a collection of avogadro's no. of units of a substance.(N= 6.023*10^23)

gay lussac talks abt the dependance of pressure on the absolute temperature(volume constant)

it says, pressure=k T (direct proportionality)

he speaks of isochores, which are P-T graphs wer V is constant.
they are all st. lines
