..lemme make myself a bit more clear...the parameters are independent of time at all positionsthe pressure at two points with the different diameters wont be the same ...but they wont change with respect to time ...like if the pressure at two points are 5 bar and 10 bar ...they would remain 5 bar and 10 bar even after 10hrs also...just keep in mind all the time derivatives vanish when the flow is classified as steady....and in all JEE problems flow will always be steady ...the variation of pressure in your problem is due to geometry and Flow path...the amount of fluid entering at a given time should be equal to amount of fluid leaving ...thats where we derive the continuity equation from ... | |||||||||||||
