Let total dist = h And total time = T Given u = 0 a = g h = g/2(T)^2...............(1)
Lets analyse the first half of motion u = 0 s = h/2 a = g v^2 = 0 + hg this will be the initial velo for the second half
So for second half u = (hg)^1/2 s = h/2 t = 1 a = g From second eqn of motion h/2 = (hg)^1/2 + g/2
Get h's value from this eqn and put it in (1), u will get the answer Rate if this helps u... Cheers!!!!!

Put your hand on a stove for a minute and it seems like an hour. Sit with that special girl for an hour and it seems like a minute. That's relativity.
