CH3COOH is more acidic than phenol its reason is very interesting.in case of CH3COOH intermediate is CH3COO -ion which has 2 equal resonanting structures while in case of C6H5O-there is 5 resonanting structure but this is less stable than CH3COO- because in this all negative charge disperse on oxygen while in case of phenoxide most of the negative charge disperse on carbon so CH3COO- is more stable even with less number of resonanting structure so CH3COOH is more acidic.
