The frormula given by u is the eulers formula

its proof is somewhat like this,

let y=cis

Differentiating it wrt

dy/d

= -sin

+ icos

= i (cis

) = iy

which implies ,

dy/y = i d

Integrating both sides

ln y = i

ie y=eⁱ
