Can we apply torque equation at point of contact if body is not rolling? Why or why not?

u mean if the body is slipping then t=i alpha will be 0 ar other number and it would be meaning less and if u r trying for equilibrium then for rotational forces(mean which cause rotation) frictional is the only one as per ur question and it is zero and so t=0 and also if body is slipping we cant apply t=ialpha and finally think we should not or rather cant apply | |||||||||||||
