Its simple. Go like this.
Let for a particulat wave
= Wave length
v = velocity
n = frequency
Now in 1 second the source of the wave in generation n numbers of seccesive waves.
Now length of 1 wave =
therefore, length of n waves = n.
Hence in one second the waves proceeds by a length of n.
It is nothing but the velocity of the wave in that particular medium.
Hence
v = n.
This is relation
