hey prakhar its really nice to see u asking question but i dint understand y r u in so much trouble just becoz u dont noe where did we get this formulae..well its nt in jee syllabus and wont be asked...to give u in short wht is used is basic definition of centre of mass and then we generalize this by taking summation on differential masses..becoz for symmetrical differential elemnts its com is same as tht of entire bodya nd then to make it dimensionally consistent diveide by summation of mass
