note that v = ds/dt
s = ut + 0.5a t^2
differentiating it with respect to time.we get
ds/dt = d/dt( ut + 0.5 a t^2)
therefore we get ,
v = u + at
chirag u had taken s/t = v
but it is not like so (it is so only in the case of accelerated motion ( as yathiyafi.... said))
v = ds/dt. i.e change of displace ment with respect to time not s/t
