Simplify both the expressions using the foll. formulae
sinA = 2 sin(A/2) cos(A/2)
1 + cosA = 2cos^2 A
1 - cosA = 2sin^2 A
1 + sinA = ( cosA/2 + sinA/2 )^2
The answer is y
