take 4x +y=z dz/dx= 4+dy/dx given eqn becomes.... dz/dx=(z+1)^2+4 dz/(z+1)^2+4=dx integrate 1/2 (tan ^-1(z+1/2))=x+c substitute z by 4x+y rate
