Maharashtra Common Entrance Test ( MHT CET) Results:
Maharashtra CET Results just announced on 14th June'11 by MHTCET board . State CET Scores Pull Down. More than 3 lakh students, who appeared for combined entrance exam (MHT-CET) for engineering, medical and pharmacy courses. According to directorate of Technical Education, around 2.98 lakh students were appeared in the entrance out of which there were 2.5 lakh candidates for engineering. Students, who got high rank in this MHT CET entrance exam, will get admission in top engineering colleges of Maharashtra.
This year, the results of Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) are disastrous as only over 50% engineering candidates and 12.76% aspirants cleared the entrance exam. Moreover, only 37 students achieved above 190/200 marks. Some experts said on the poor performance of students that it may be just non-understanding of core concepts. However, Anil Jadhav, an officer with DTE, said, “There was no major change in the MHT CET question paper pattern. But we found more students learn by rote. So, we decided to tweak the questions and see if students can use their logical abilities to answer them. Unfortunately, they could not. Some even failed to complete the paper. ”
The admission process for autonomous and other engineering & pharmacy colleges will start on 21st June. For admission process, it is mandatory for those who wish to get admission through centralized process and those candidates, who don’t register themselves, will not able to attend the process. Candidates can check a copy of guidelines available on official website www.dte.org.in .
