West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) Counselling Dates Schedule:

WBJEE 2012 result was declared today i.e. 17 May at 3 p.m. West bengal JEE board will announce soon WBJEE counselling Schedule.

WBJEE Counselling Application form :

Counselling application form for appearing at the WBJEE counselling schedule can be down-loaded from official websites described below.

Documents to be brought positively by the candidates during West Bengal JEE Counseling:

The candidates, who are appearing in WBJEE counseling, will have to bring some important documents. These documents are listed below:

(a.)    Counselling Application form (down-loaded) duly filled in and signed in specified places.
(b.)    Downloaded JEM / AIEEE Rank Card.
(c.)    Original Admit Card of JEM / AIEEE exam .
(d.)    Original Admit Card / Certificate of Madhyamik (10th standard) or equivalent examination or Birth Certificate from competent authority for verification of Age.
(e.)    Original Mark Sheet of Higher Secondary (10+2 standard) or equivalent examination for verification of the marks.
(f.)    In case of SC / ST / PC candidates of the State of West Bengal, original SC / ST / PC certificates issued by the competent authority for verification.
(g.)    Original NATA (National Aptitude Test for Architecture) clearance certificate (applicable for those intending to take admission to B. Architecture course).
(h.)    Attested Xerox copies of all testimonials for the purpose of admission.

In case, if you’re unable to appear in the scheduled counseling owing to valid reasons under exceptional circumstances, your parents/guardian may be permitted for appearing in counseling on your behalf with the following documents.

(a.)    Authorisation letter from the candidate and also declaring in the said authorization letter that he / she would not claim any seat other than the one allotted to him / her through his / her representative by authorization.
(b.)   All original testimonials as mentioned in Sl No. (3) Under heading “Important documents to be brought positively by the candidates during counselling.”

WBJEE Counseling fee:

The WBJEE Counseling fee of Rs. 500/- (non-refundable) to be paid in the form of Bank Draft / Pay Order payable at Kolkata to be drawn in favour of Central Selection Committee (E&T) (the Bank Draft may be purchased from any Bank). At the time of counseling, the selected candidate should bring the said Bank Draft writing his name and Enrolment No. on the back side of this demand draft (DD) with ball point pen.

During entire phases of counseling, fee is to be deposited only once. Before reporting to marks verification counter, candidate is required to deposit the Bank Draft of Rs. 500/- to the Bank Counter(s) opened at the counseling venue and obtains the receipt for the same in the form of Bank Slip. Before taking the allotment letter, this Bank Slip shall have to be submitted at the counseling desk by the candidate.

Spot admission:

There is also arrangement for spot admission to one of the Universities / Colleges affiliated WBJEE after allotment.

For spot admission to self financing private Engineering Colleges -

Candidates are advised to bring with them Rs. 10,000/- (plus Bank Draft charge) in the form of cash. After getting the allotment letter, a demand draft of Rs. 10,000/- to be purchased from the UBI Bank Counter located at the counseling center/venue in favour of the concerned Private Engineering College to which allotment has been made. This Draft is to be deposited at the counter of the allotted Private Engineering College located at the counseling venue. Candidates can get further information regarding admission from this counter.

For admission to Universities and Govt Engineering Colleges –
The amount in cash required is Rs. 5,000/- plus Bank Draft charges. Other formalities are identical as above.
