we know that molar masses of Mg, S, O are 24, 32,16 respectively. therefore molar mass of MgSO4 = 120. mass% of Mg in MgSO4 = (24/120)*100. =20 since 10 kg is Mg is required for 100 sq. m of land 100kg is required for 1000 sq m. and MgSO4 required = (100/20)*100 = 500 kg. |
