actinoids have +3 as their common stable oxdn state.thus Eu2+ tends get oxidised to +3 state,thus acts as redn agent.Ce4+gets reduced to +3 state and acts as oxdn agent. hope this helps !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
