in d case of monoatomic molecules.....
atomicity is 1(mono).........for eg......He,Ne...
dia-atomic molecule....atomicity is 2...
triatomic.....atomicity is 3....for eg.......ozone is triatomic...
& so  on.....
atomicity is d no. of atoms present in one molecule of dat substance
.....hope ur clear...
