Ans) Jamia Millia Islamia University started its Training & Placement Cell in 2006 which is very active in coordinating the training and Placement of students of various professional courses. Placement Cell of university keeps a close interaction with the industry and it also identifies the potential employees and their contemporary needs. It facilitates the companies which are willing to recruit students. It also co-ordinates various departments, Coordinators, teachers, student placement committee for better campus placement. Moreover, the cell organizes industry-institute interaction through career fairs, pre-placement talks, seminars, lectures and discussions. Training & Placement Cell conducts pre-placement training seminars to prepare students better for the jobs.
