Look the freezing point of solution is approx. freezing point of solvent.
Now when acetamide is added to acetic acid, the f.p. is lowered. Now when the solution is colled to its f.p., the solution attains the freezing point which is very much closer to that of solvent.
So acetic acid will crystallize out.
In such questions, always the solvent is crystallized.
