this is a tricky ques
look u must be knowing that the least value of (1 +1/x) is 2
and max value of 2cosA is 2
so 2cosA = x + 1/x and 2 cosB= y + 1/y can only be true if rhs is 2
this gives us A=B=0
2cos(A-B) = 2cos0 = 2 which wud be the min value for x/y + y/x for the same reason
