One thing is very good that you like organic chemistry. Many students just are scared or hate organic chemistry. You are interested in mechanisms of organic reactions is really appreciable. Organic chemistry needs practice. As you are saying you are out of practice for some time, so please start again. You are already having notes, various books with you. Start reading them, going from the fundamentals. Notes, practice papers are available on this site. Use it. Feel free to get your doubts clarified from experts. Practice as many questions as you can always thinking logically why a particular answer is correct. If you have doubt do not hesitate to discuss with experts. Apart from the books you mentioned if possible and time permits refer to Finar vol.I organic chemistry- it is an excellant book which helps us in attempting questions on reaction. Best wishes to you.
