Let out of 100 g x g is FeO and remaining Fe3O4 On heating FeO will oxidise to Fe3O4 3FeO+ (1/2)O2 gives Fe3O4 So 3*72=216 g FeO will give 232 g Fe3O4 So 232x/216+(100-x)=105 So x = 216*5/16 percent
