A body was initially in rest.It travelled 2m in 1sec.So its velocity is now 2m/s and acceleration is 2m/s^2.The body continues in 2m/s^2 acceleration.But when we use the equation S=ut+1/2 at^2,

ie,

S=0+0.5*2*1*1

So,

    S=1 m

But here the displacement is 2m.How this happens.
