Same as @aditya had replied.In normal adjustment the final image is formed at infinity.Th rays are made to fall on the objective lens of the telescope.It forms real,inverted and diminshed image of the object.th eye piece is so adjusted that the image lies at focus of the eye piece.Hence image at infinity.

 

where as in the other case the image is made to form at focus of the objective lens.
