There exists hydrogen bonding b/w the oxygen atom in ether and H s in water ..........but we cannot conclude that all ethers are miscible in water because it also depends on the size of the two alkyl groups attached to O atom in ether ..........if their size is more than 3(carbons) the approachability of H is reduced and the ether's solubility also decreases consequently
