Say, the options are a) 5.62 b) 3.2 c) 7.9 d) 21.4 How approximate the nu,ber to nearest power of 10. Suppose, you need to find log (621453), 621453 is between 100000 and 1000000. So, log (621453) must lie bet 5 and 6. So, option A.
If neither of the above 2 cases is true, then definitely, logarithms will be given. If not, beleive me, the question will be deleted for evaluation.
