let the diameter of the plate's hole be do and that of sphere be Do, then as per the question, the sphere will pass thru the hole if on incresaing temperature, the diameter of sphere gets gr8r or equal to that of hole, rite??? if t be the increase in temp then we have
d = do (1 + alphaAl t)
D= Do (1 + alphaSt t)
equating we have Do/do = (1 + alphaAl t) / (1 + alphaSt t)
now since u havnt given the value of Do , i cant solve it to the end, u can urself put the values, n get the answer......
