and the second one, since u hav mentioned that accuracy upto 0.055 mm i.e. 55 X 10-6 m is required, so the change in length must be less than equal to it, i.e. maximum value of expansion on increasing temperature, must be 55 X 10-6 m, thrfore applying the formula
change in length = Lo alphasteel t, (symbols having same meaning as in previous one)
= > 55 X 10-6 = Lo alphasteel t
frm here u can calculate the value of t, nd now the experiemnt can be performed in the temp range [20-t, 20+t]
