hi nunoxic, well morrison-boyd is a big book, not primarily meant for jee/aiee preps, but u can get ur concepts clear from them.... go thru the mechanisms of the important rxns frm the buk.... as far as aieee nd bitsat isconcerned, they wont really ask too tuff problems, but in jee , u can get them, by tuff i mean to say, they will be application based, not direct questions..... like in jee-2006 thr was a comprehension on hoffman-bromamide degradation, we all knw the rxn, but wat it asks was the simple application of the mechansim.... so jst go thru the concepts first.... nd then do the questions..... since u have asked about the chapters.... her's wat is in jee syllabus.... since u have got enuf tym, u can do all this well..... nd do give special importance to aldehydes n ketones, thr are many rxns in them, which will be used too frequently in questions.....
alkanes
stereochem
alkyl halides
alcohols n ethers
role of solvent
alkenes
alkenes II
conjugation n resonance
alkynes
cyclic aliphatic compounds
aromacity
electrophilic aromatic substitution
aromatic aliphatic compounds
aldehydes n ketones
carboxylic acids
functional derivates of carboxylic acids
carbanions
amines
amines reactions
phenols
carbanions
aryl halides
alpha beta unsaturated carbonyl compounds
stereochemistry
carbohydrates
u'll be thinking, that i havnt omitted much chapters.... so my dear frnd, questions in organic chemistry arent frm a single chapter, they r totally mixed.... ranging frm alkane to amines..... so u cant leav a particular chapter, if u wanna do 100% questions.... nd since u hav got enuf tym,,,,,, u can do them very well!!!
hopefully u'll get ur problem solved....
gud luck
if u r satisfied, do give ur rate
