simple hai yaar, Let p = a; q = az; r = az2 s = az3 Now, p2 - q2 = (p + q)(p - q) = (a + az)(a - az) = a(1 - z2) q2 - r2 = (q + r)(q - r) = (az + az2)(az - az2) = az(1 - z2) Hope u get d point. Here the common ratio is z. And the first term is a(1 - z2). This proves the required condition.
