suppose there is a uniform rod of mass m and length 'l' kept in vertical position which is hinged at one of the ends.A particle of mass m moving initially with velocity u comes and hits the rod .What must be height from the hinge(below) where the particle must hit the rod so that the hinge force is minimum.coeffiicient of restitution is e.
